I became a hairstylist because I love change, newness, and excitement. There’s something special about the calm and relaxation that comes with doing hair — or even getting my own done. Most of all, I love when I can bring joy into others’ lives through hair and nails.
What makes me unique is my love of creating seamless, lived-in blonde looks that can grow out beautifully for six months to a year without touch-ups. I take pride in my attention to detail with every nail service — from meticulous cuticle care to intricate, hand-painted nail art. And above all, I want every client to love their experience in my chair, whether they’re a little one who’s nervous about clippers or an adult who’s had tough experiences in salons before.
As a person, I love to tell stories, get silly with the littles, and dive into real, meaningful conversations with my clients. I’m originally from Missouri (which I lovingly call “misery” because of the humidity, heat, and bugs). I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah, where I later attended cosmetology school, met my husband, and eventually settled in Rexburg with our two cats, Thunder and Almond.
Outside the salon, I also work at Cosmoprof as a Color and Curl Concierge. I get to learn about and try the newest products from the best brands, which helps me stay up to date on everything happening in the beauty industry. I love helping people find products that help them achieve and maintain their dream hair.
When you sit in my chair, you can expect warmth, patience, and genuine care. I’ll take time to listen, make sure you feel comfortable, and create a style that fits your lifestyle and personality.
Ready for hair you’ll love to live in? Book with me today — I can’t wait to create something beautiful with you!

JANE UNGERMAN
Stylist

Hi!! I’m from Wyoming and I moved here to Rexburg at the start of my hair journey in 2023. I am recently married to a literal saint of a man!
Becoming a hairstylist wasn’t just a career choice for me—it was a calling. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, connection, and making people feel their absolute best. I became a stylist because I love helping others express themselves through their look, because there’s nothing more powerful than confidence, and because being behind the chair lets me create something beautiful every single day.
What sets me apart as a stylist is my ability to truly listen to what my clients want, my never ending patience when it comes to our little friends, and my passion for continued learning.
I would like to say I’m a homebody to my bones, I love to read in a comfy corner somewhere with my emotional support Dr. Pepper. But I truly do love to talk and really get to know someone new. Also something about me is that you’ll never catch me without a set of nails! They’ve always been painted, ever since I was a little girl.
I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and become friends! My chair is calling your name.
I was one of those girls that planned ahead for my future. I knew I wanted to do hair and be a mom. I loved braiding my older sisters’ hair when I was young, then experimenting with my own and my friends’ hair in high school. I would cut my hair nearly every night depending on how I wanted it to look the next day! I’ve always loved hair, and knew it was something I would enjoy forever. I always planned to do beauty school before I had kids, which I did. I finished 2 ½ weeks before having my first baby to be exact, but I finished!
Something that sets me apart from other hairdressers is that I’m a mom to 8 little kids, so I understand the “mom guilt” of spending time and money on yourself. But I also know how important it is to feel good about yourself instead of losing your own identity and just becoming “mom.” I spent many years as a stay at home, homeschooling mom; most of those years struggling to make ends meet. I understand how we become lower on the list of priorities than many other things, but having a fresh color and a simple to style new cut can make a huge difference in our mental well-being! I get the need for a balance between functional (ponytails and mom buns for the win!) and stylish. I love helping women learn to love their hair again, especially when they didn’t think it was possible.
I was born and raised here in Rexburg, then moved to Utah as a teenager. After high school, I was a nanny in Germany, then came back to Rexburg to attend BYU-Idaho where I met my husband. I took a break for beauty school and to get married, then went back to college while pregnant with my second baby. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Child Development when my fourth baby was a year old. When pregnant with my fifth baby, I started homeschooling. While pregnant with my sixth, I opened the salon. Needless to say, I’m a bit crazy and like to stay busy!

Many people can't believe that a girl who grew up in Hawaii, living in paradise, would choose to move to Idaho some day. That's me! I'm that girl. Growing up on the North Shore of Oahu gave me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. I learned about the cultures of people from all over the world and it taught me to respect differences in others and embrace new experiences and opportunities.
After graduating high school, I moved to WY to be closer to family and met my husband. We got married and have 4 amazing children. After staying in WY for several more years, we had the chance to move to Rexburg for a job opportunity for my husband. My first thought was "I can go to cosmetology school! Finally!". After moving, it took 4 long years of fast food service work to have the money to go to school. Was it the hardest 15 months of schooling of my entire life? Yes. Was it worth it? An Emphatic YES!
I graduated from Evans Hairstyling College in 2022. Working in a salon has been a dream of mine since I was 16 years old. I don't work in the beauty industry for the money. I do it because it's what I love. It's what I enjoy! I discovered a love for working with children and especially children who have special needs or sensory issues. Some of my own children struggle with sensory issues and it's been amazing to discover things I can do to make a hair cut not end in tears for a child. My philosophy is "I go at their pace, not mine." I can't even begin to describe the happiness I feel when a parent tells me they've never had their child laugh during a haircut before! My goal is to keep everyone at ease and make haircuts a fun and relaxing experience for both child and parent.
While the kids do have a piece of my heart, I love doing all kinds of things in the salon. Men's cuts, women's cuts, nail sets, and perms are all on my favorites list! If you feel like we'd be a good match, click that Book Now button and come see me! I can't wait to meet you behind the chair!

Hi, I’m Megan and I’m an Idaho girl through and through! I became a hairstylist because I truly love helping people feel confident and beautiful. And that’s what I’ve been doing for over 2 years now! There’s nothing better than seeing someone light up when we reach their hair goals!
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me immersed in music; I’m currently studying music education at BYUI and I play in the Idaho Falls Symphony! I also love hanging out with my little poodle, or going rock climbing!
I believe every great style starts with a great consultation; that’s where I take the time to really listen to your vision so we can bring your dream hair to life. I’m especially passionate about braiding and styling, but I also love creating custom cuts and colors tailored to your unique look and lifestyle.
Don’t wait! Book your appointment and let’s make you look and feel your absolute best!
